Get ready to enjoy the green and luxuriant Chianti region with us as we drive through picturesque villages, through undulating hills, stopping a while to taste excellent wine or virgin oil and browse around medieval villages filled with historical places to visit.

In this tour we offer you two choices

1. Two wine tastings
2. One wine tasting and a visit to San Gimignano

We will begin the day with a wine tasting session at one of the most famous vineyards in Chianti. This vineyard is actually an ancient castle and you can have an extensive tour of the cantinas (wine cellars). You will get to see the entire process of how Chianti wines are made from one of the leading producers of the region. After this extensive tour we will take you for a drive through one of the largest villages in Chianti situated at a height of 500 metres above sea level set amidst olive groves and vineyards. We will proceed to Castellina, an ancient village with fortresses, churches and palaces. We will later visit a fortified outpost in Siena and finally we will visit the famous town of Radda in Chianti. This medieval village has preserved most of its ancient structure and is an active agriculture centre in Chianti.

NOTE: The 16 person bus tour will require an extra one time only group payment of € 30 which covers the cost of the vehicle entry into the walls of the town of San Gimignano. The driver will provide you with the receipt. If you decide to tour through Chianti & have two wine tastings then the entry ticket to San Gimignano will NOT apply to the 16-seater bus.

Please note that the rate mentioned here includes a pick-up and drop-off in Florence. Driver can be arranged to pick you from the place you stay in any region within Tuscany and the respective rates will be quoted separately.
