Wine and olive oil are two of Italy's most famous productions, owing to the high quality and standards that have been developed throughout the centuries. Set in some of the most beautiful countryside in the world, you can learn about - and taste - some excellent wine and olive oil in the wondrous setting Tuscany, Italy.

In the morning, after being collected by your driver, you will be taken to a wine tasting at a historical, hilltop vineyard set in a castle in Chianti. Here, you will sample some of the world-famous Chianti wine. Next, your driver will take you to a traditional Tuscan trattoria to dine with the locals, savouring the wonderful Tuscan cuisine.

After lunch, you will continue on through the beautiful countryside to an olive oil mill, where you will explore the olive grove, see the ancient olive oil press ('frantoio'), be educated about the production methods, tasting notes and history of what was termed by Homer as 'liquid gold'. Learn about the different methods of producing oil, learning about cold-press extra virgin olive oil versus other forms of oil. You will also be able to sample some olive oil.

Your driver will then return you to your accommodation, taking an alternate road home so you can see the stunning Greve in Chianti area on the way.
